Spirits, Shadows, & the Sturgeon Moon

Many cultures believe that the Lunar Eclipse negatively impacts humanity, suggesting that the Eclipse itself is the manifestation of restless dark spirits overtaking the Moon. The brilliant full Moon, traditionally aligned with feminine power, darkens, and the scales tip. In years past, during lunar eclipses, I would seek solace and quiet in the darkness. But this is not years past, and I am not who I once was. Tonight, I call on my own feminine strength as the Sturgeon Moon falls into the shadows. 
Let the spirits come. My sisters and I are ready.
